This fall and winter Cross Stitch has been working with girls at The Atlanta Girls School and we are excited to be traveling to Kolkata in a little over a week to take materials created by the AGS girls to share and keep the wheels moving for their joint project.
We had the lovely and talented Jess Jones from the Georgia State University textiles department show us how to print directly on to fabric with a scanner/printer combo. We’ll be running the same workshop in Kolkata. You can get a great printer/scanner –real cheap these days and the results are great.
We’ll then add some hand-touches with embroidery and finishing. Look for an exciting Cross Stitch event later this Spring or early Summer!
